J. Robert S. Prichard

Mr. Prichard, 61, of Toronto, Ontario, is President and Chief Executive Officer of Metrolinx and was previously President and Chief Executive Officer of Torstar Corporation. Prior to joining Torstar, he was President of the University of Toronto from 1990-2000. He is also a director of the Bank of Montreal and George Weston Ltd. He is also Vice-Chair of Canada’s Science, Technology and Innovative Council,
Chairman of the Visiting Committee of Harvard Law School, a trustee of the Hospital for Sick Children and a director of the Toronto Community Foundation.

Mr. Prichard studied economics at Swarthmore College and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago, a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Laws degree from Yale University. He is also an Officer of the Order of Canada, a Member of the Order of Ontario and a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.
